A poor girl
A poor family lived in a small village. There was a girl in that family, whose name was Riya. Riya was very kind and sympathetic. She was always ready to help the people around her.
Riya's father worked in a small shop, but his income was very low. Riya's mother used to work at home and take care of the family.
One day, there was a big famine in the village. People had nothing to eat. Riya, along with her family, decided to help the people of the village.
Riya collected grains from her father's shop and distributed it among the people of the village. She cooked food along with her mother and fed the people of the village.
Riya's kindness and sympathy won the hearts of the people of the village. They all started helping Riya and a new energy was infused in the village.
One day, a rich man of the village saw Riya's kindness and he gave Riya a big reward. Riya refused to accept that award and said, "I have done this work from my heart, so I don't want any award."
Riya's kindness and dedication showed a new direction to the people of the village and they all started trying to become kind and compassionate like Riya.
From this story we learn that with kindness and compassion we can change the lives of others and make our society better.
